Handheld Learning - learning with mobile and ubiquitous technologies

Hi, I‘m a student at Staffordshire University studying for an MA in Interactive Multimedia.  For my Masters project I’m designing a program to help young children (reception class) with reading and writing.

I need to look at other software currently available.  Can anyone recommend any suitable titles for me to look at?  They don’t necessarily have to cover literacy but anything age appropriate would be good.
