Hi Jocelyn
There's a few things in the members shareware library here but certainly not exhaustive and, like you, would welcome more.
Some links:
A free periodic table for Palm:
http://www.geocities.com/palm_chemtable/
Another for Pocket PC:
http://www.cebaby.com/products.html#PPT
Physics and Chemistry software for PPC (quite advanced however):
http://www.pdainitiative.com/products/physref/
http://www.pdainitiative.com/products/chemref%5Fadv/
Data logging:
http://www.data-harvest.co.uk/datalogging/secondary.html
http://www.pasco.com/palm/
Something to start the list at least!

About time somebody started talking about IMPORTANT stuff, like the World Cup
Here's a couple of resources I found by doing a quick Google search:
PalmOS:
http://www.tinystocks.com/football/wcup2006/wcup2006.html
(free)
Pocket PC:
http://software.palminfocenter.com/product.asp?id=5870
($4.99)
Of course I will be dressed in Orange for the occasion

You're welcome, and please call me Mark. BTW, I noticed that FIFA 2006 World Cup just came out (
http://www.easports2006fifaworldcup.com/
), and is available for DS and PSP. Now I just need to get a DS or PSP

Resources for Teaching With Handhelds
«

Hi,
SUMS Online just became involved in providing its 80 interactive maths resources to two UK local authorities. All developed in Flash and all work in a browser on Windows mobile 2003. We are looking for any other school/education projects which would be prepared to help us learn how best to tweak our software. No charge and every support from us. Just let me know.
Thanks
David

I am a long time Palm user who just bought a used Dell Axim x30. I am taking my last graduate class toward my Master's and the professor is going to allow me to change an exisiting assignment so that I can create a resource page for educators using this platform. I do know that there is not the amount of software for this platform as compared to Palm.
I would like to turn to this community to give me ideas and suggestions for this short project.

Dear Midge
At the risk of blowing my own (commercial) trumpet, i-Guide provides tools that allow teachers to create truly interactive content on any handheld device with an internet connection and browser.
Teachers create materials to which students can respond with text, multiple choice, data entry etc. Student responses are recorded as they work, and can be accessed by the students or their teacher from any computer with an internet connection (at school or home), from where they can be copied to integrate into other work.
